ProofPilot’s 2025: What We Built, Who We Partnered With, and What’s Ahead

Over the past year, ProofPilot truly leveled up—we generated amazing customer experiences, joined forces with Lokavant, held our first industry conference, grew our team and our product, and expanded our impact through exciting partnerships and special projects.

Here’s what some of our sponsors and sites said about us this year:

“Why is this not on every study we do? Feel like this is a no-brainer and table stakes.”

“This [study coordinator/director] is very seasoned, so he’s seen many platforms, and he said ProofPilot is the best one he’s ever seen and used.”

“ProofPilot has taken a more holistic approach without being a heavyweight ‘platform’ and frankly it’s refreshing!”

“This is a huge game changer. CRAs take note - this a huge win for you all.”

We poured our heart and soul into our commitment to empower sponsors and research teams with the tools needed for smoother trials, and we can’t wait to ride this wave into 2026.

Here are our highlights from 2025, and a look at what’s next as we transition into the new year.

New alliances and expanded impact

🔗 ProofPilot + Lokavant: An acquisition for better trial optimization

Our acquisition of Lokavant in 2025 combined our trial execution capabilities with Lokavant’s advanced analytics and predictive insights. This strategic movexpands our ability to support trial sponsors in optimizing clinical research with reliable, real-time decision making and proactive interventions.

🤝 ProofPilot and Inspire: A partnership for expanded trial recruitment

We welcomed Inspire into our Patient Recruitment Network, giving us more opportunity to connect patients to life-changing clinical trialsThis exciting partnership is an important step toward breaking down barriers to study participation.

🚀 ProofPilot and DiMe: A collaboration to drive digital innovation

We joined a collaborative project with the Digital Medicine Society (DiMe) aimed to train a digital tool for the prevention of opioid use disorder (OUD) relapse. Our participation reflects our commitment to improving clinical trials through digital innovation.

CORE Symposium knocked it out of the park

In September, we hosted our first industry conference: the CORE Symposium. We curated this intimate event especially for clin ops leaders who are tired of being inspired, and ready for real action to improve trial execution.

Here’s what made this event successful and special:

  • A change of scenery to give new life to important conversations: Our CORE Symposium was held at the legendary Fenway Park, overlooking America’s most beloved field
  • Fueled by the doers themselves: From panels packed with clin ops veterans to an audience spanning over 40 pharma organizations, CORE was chock full of those who are actively working to solve foundational challenges in clinical research
  • A celebration of change: We proudly presented our first ever Change Agent of the Year Award to Jenn Curry from Biogen!

New capabilities to better serve study sponsors

We work closely with our pharma customers and their study sites to solve their real challenges in clinical trial execution. And it’s not just talk—when sponsors tell us what they need, we listen.

In 2025, we introduced new and expanded offerings to better support:

  • Enrollment forecasting and study startup
  • Recruitment and enrollment
  • Site training and efficiency
  • Patient adherence and engagement

Big conference energy

If you didn’t catch us at any of the 21 industry conferences we participated in worldwide in 2025, are you even in clin ops?!

As always, we brought our special spark to many panels throughout the year, and we’re beyond thankful to the sponsor, site, and patient panelists who joined us for the ride.

We’re ending the year with many strong relationships that began, or grew even stronger, on a conference floor or stage. These opportunities to connect face-to-face with our industry peers are priceless, and we can't wait for even more in 2026.

On the air

Whether it was hosting our own webinars to highlight sponsor and site expertise, or joining many beloved industry podcasts, we enjoyed engaging discussions with experts across clinical operations.

A special thank you to Note to File, SCRS, SOS, and Thorough Group for having us on your shows this year!

An industry in transition

Throughout 2025, our industry continued to navigate significant change. Many companies announced workforce reductions within clinical operations and R&D, reorganized teams around priority therapeutic areas, or paused and reprioritized pipelines to manage cost pressure. At the same time, acquisitions of data, analytics, and trial technology companies—and the divestiture of non-core assets—reshaped how development teams were structured and supported.

Against this backdrop, the need for smarter, more resilient trial operations only grew. Teams were asked to do more with less. These realities reinforced our focus on building strong and long-lasting relationships with sponsors to help them withstand the ongoing change in the industry.

Looking ahead: what's next in 2026?

CORE Continued

We’re thrilled to plan not just another CORE Symposium in 2026, but two! We simply can’t get over the energy and enthusiasm generated by our first event.

The next CORE event will be held in Boston in April 2026. Want in on the experience? Sign up here to be the first to request your seat when the details are announced.
